About the album
Edit
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Charlotte Coliseum, a 23,780 capacity venue located at 100 Paul Buck Boulevard. This was the only show performed in the state of North Carolina on the tour.
The evening began at 8:00pm with English synthpop duo Erasure, who performed a set featuring songs from their latest album The Circus.
Led by lead singer Simon Le Bon, Duran Duran's ten-strong ensemble opened with "A View to a Kill", a song played at Live Aid several years earlier when the world watched.
With the stage sparse on gadgets, the band got a loud response from the crowd when they followed with the funky "Notorious".
During the evening, Duran Duran played a cross section from their catalogue of material, including seven songs from their latest release Notorious.
The band closed the show with a reggae version of "The Reflex".
Tickets for the event cost around $15.50.
