About the album
Edit
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Sala Razzmatazz, a 400 capacity venue located near the Bogatell Metro Station. This was the first European summer show on the tour.
As the lights go out, Duran Duran appeared on stage to a thunderous applause. With special effects lighting, the band then launch the show with "Sunrise", which was well received.
Hits from the 80s followed, including "Hungry Like the Wolf".
Towards the middle of the concert Nick Rhodes showcased his keyboards skills, whilst playing the instrumental "Tiger Tiger" on his own. This was followed by the title track of Astronaut, the second of five tracks taken from the new album during the evening.
The show finished with an encore of "Girls on Film" and "Rio".
Concert tickets were printed with Duran Duran photography by Richard Haughton.
