About the albumEdit
The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, a 18,000 capacity venue located at Corner Port Rd and Adam St in Hindmarsh. This was the fourth of seven shows in Australia on the tour.
The turnout was solid, with fans coming out on this Tuesday night to see Duran Duran in Australia after a five year gap.
Bang on 8:30, the lights dimmed and the anticipation was electrified. The band's last visit to Adelaide was back in 1983.
Without any support act, Duran Duran kicked off their set with three songs from the Red Carpet Massacre album. This was followed with an arousing reception for "Hungry Like the Wolf", after Simon Le Bon asked the crowd if they wanted to hear something they knew.
The album front cover and concert poster features photography by Stephanie Pistel.
