A View To A Kill is the soundtrack album for the 14th James Bond-movie A View To A Kill, released in 1985. The album features Duran Duran.

About the albumEdit

The album includes the song "A View To A Kill", which is the most successful Bond theme to date. In 1986, John Barry and Duran Duran were nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.

"A View to a Kill (That Fatal Kiss" is also featured, an instrumental written by John Barry and Duran Duran. The track was recorded in London with a 60-piece orchestra.

During the opening teaser, the album includes a cover version of the 1965 Beach Boys song "California Girls". The track was performed by Gidea Park (a tribute band) and used during a chase in which Bond snowboards.
