A First Impression in Athens is an unofficial Duran Duran live DVDr, recorded at the Tunnel Club in Athens, Greece on 17 October 1990.

About the DVDrEdit

This is a recording of a TV special aired in Greece during December 1990 called Duran Duran in Athens, which features interviews and promo performances by Duran Duran.

The DVD begins with footage from the airport, shot three days earlier when Duran Duran arrived in Greece.

The interviews include Nick Rhodes talking about his love of movies and creating songs with the band. Warren Cuccurullo added that he's been with Duran Duran since 1986, and this is his first visit to Greece with the band.

Also included are live rehearshals of "Read My Lips" and "Liberty".
